Rent Storage

Dakota Plains Storage has two locations to serve your storage needs. Each location has various size storage units. The Lake Poinsett (Estelline) site is conveniently located less than a quarter of a mile from the Lake Poinsett Public Access Northeast (also known as the Prestrude Lake Access). These units are designed with larger doors and extra space between buildings for easy maneuverability of your larger items such as pontoons, boats, and campers. The Hayti, SD site is located on the North edge of town.

Lake Poinsett Location (16 x 40)

This is a great option if you are looking to store a camper, fish house, or pontoon. These units have a 14' X 14' door. This unit can be reserved for up to 30 days in advance.

Lake Poinsett Location (12 x 25)

This unit has a 10' X 10' door. It is a great option if you are looking to store your vehicle, UTV, boat, or seasonal toys. Don't tow your boat back and forth; store it at the lake! This unit can be reserved up to 30 days in advance.

Lake Poinsett Location (16 x 25)

If you are looking for a wider option, this is a great spot to store your vehicle, UTV, boat, or seasonal toys. These units have a 10' X 10' door. This unit can be reserved up to 30 days in advance.

Lake Poinsett Location Drive-Thru (12 x 50)

These storage units are designed with two doors so you can drive through. Each door is 10 X 10. This unit can be reserved up to 30 days in advance.

Hayti Location (10 x 14)

The door is 8'8" wide and 7' tall. Good for storing multiple bedroom sets, large appliances, smaller cars and boats, ATVs, and patio sets.

Hayti Location (10 x 10)

The door is 8'8" wide and 7' tall. This storage unit has the space equivalent to 1/2 of a standard one-car garage or a large bedroom. Good for bedroom sets, sporting equipment, refrigerators, and boxes.

Hayti Location Outdoor Storage (10 x 55)

Outdoor Storage (no canopy/awning) - Park a trailer, fish house, semi-truck or camper. Pay for a full year and get $50 off.
